Time & Location
About the Event
on February 16th UNESCO, in collaboration with UNEP, StartUp Inside, and Microsoft, is organizing a global virtual conference dedicated to the theme of AI for the Planet from 14h-18h CET.
The conference will be entirely digital, and interpretation will be available in English and French (thanks to the support of Microsoft). The conference will be structured around 3 digital formats: Digital Keynotes & Round Tables, Digital Q&A, and a Digital Demo Zone of AI for the Planet solutions and use cases.
This conference will focus on three thematic areas:
1) Climate change;
2) Nature and biodiversity conservation;
3) Waste and pollution management.
Speakers will include high level representatives from the UN, NGOs, academic institutions, scientists and entrepreneurs, foundations, startups and tech leaders.
The conference will also launch a series of monthly dialogues (Tuesdays Together for the Planet) throughout 2021 that will bring together the world's best experts and AI pioneers to share concrete use cases, identify best practices, celebrate successes, and inspire further actions in this field .
Due to the extraordinary speakers, we have more than 4,500 people already registered for this global digital event from around the world.
